Our Director of Landscape & Design, Emaline Fronckowiak, offers more than talent to AguaFina. The third in a family of four girls, she found solitude amongst the trees. With a hands on personality, evident from her first job planting seedlings in a greenhouse, Emaline’s connection to nature took her forward. She attended Delhi University, NY, for an AAS then Cornell University, NY, for her BA in Landscape Architecture. While at university she spent a semester in Italy studying Landscapes and Their Cultural Influences. Since joining the team at AguaFina Gardens, Emaline has helped define its culture with her nurturing manner and straightforward approach. Traveling to Japan as a student to the Research Center for Japanese Culture and Garden Art in Kyoto was a part of her belief to never stop doing what you love. Currently living in Michigan, Emaline is in her fourth and second year journey of motherhood, a study and intensive beginning with a crash course in boys! In her free time…scratch that . . . with family in tow, Emaline tends her garden, cooks, bikes, educates, and takes a breath while swinging in her hammock.
