This piece, titled "Rain Fountain", produces a soft gentle sound as water cascades and travels along the carved grooves of the stone. Hand carved from natural basalt, this fountain can be either incorporated into a larger water feature or set as the focal point of an intimate garden space. With its sleek appearance and geometric form, it is an appropriate piece for a modern garden design.

The use of water in a garden does not necessarily need to be overpowering to be effective, such as the case in this intimate courtyard water feature. Set adjacent to the entrance of the home, this water feature subtly sets a tranquil tone. Water gently pours from a bamboo spout into the natural crevice of a petrified wood log, a found artifact from Borneo. The moss that was originally harvested from the surrounding woodland thrives in this perfect growing condition of moisture and shade. Accenting the feature are plantings of Japanese Painted Ferns and Dwarf Variegated Hosta.
